The Ramp
The Ramp, which is accurately billed as a minimalist skateboarding game, requires you to tap and release the screen as your skater moves through various halfpipe sections. You can swipe to perform tricks or press the grind button when they jump into the air.
Moncage
Moncage is entirely played out across a cube's five viewable faces, which you may turn to look through its various planes at beautifully created 3D scenes. To find components of various faces that line up in the manner of 2017's classic, Gorogoa, tap to zoom in or out.
Asphalt Xtreme
Asphalt Xtreme, a free-to-play game that was first released in 2016, has been purchased by Netflix and re-issued as an Apple Arcade-style game, but only if you have a Netflix subscription.
Disney Melee Mania
Melee Mania is essentially Brawl Stars, but with a number of Disney favorites pummeling one other in its small cartoon venues, just like Lego Star Wars Battles is a clone of Clash Royale.
Tap Wizard 2: Idle Magic Quest
Select a wizard, then watch them move around automatically while casting the spell you've chosen against the invading army. Just unwind, relax, and switch magic attacks as various enemy types appear and disappear.
Peace, Death! 2
As the Grim Reaper, your first task is to send recently deceased souls to purgatory if their character is functionally neutral, paradise if they have been good, and hell if they have been wicked.
Alien Isolation
Alien Isolation makes a surprisingly excellent mobile debut, perfectly imitating the creepy, green screen retro-futurism of Ridley Scott's masterpiece, replete with the arcane humming and clicking sound effects.
Postknight 2
Similar to the original, you play as a novice parcel delivery swordsman who must withstand blows from opponents who are getting stronger as you practice to improve your fighting techniques and deliver mail.
Foregone
Foregone, a 2D action game, is similar to Dead Cells at least on the surface and was first launched on platforms last spring. However, although having some slight Metroidvania elements, this is a far more condensed gaming experience.
CapRoyale
In a strange twist of fate, CapRoyale is basically Clash of Clans, but in a store. You have a strip mall instead of a village, security cabins instead of archer towers, and a shiny HQ instead of a town hall.
Arcanium: Rise Of Akhan
As more and more things, like Microsoft Office and Ring doorbells, work on a subscription model, it's nice when a service you already use gives you extra benefits without making you pay more money. So it is with Netflix's tentative attempt to get into video games. Arcanium is their newest game. It's a roguelite deck builder with some elements of Slay the Spire and Hearthstone. Like other Netflix games, it's free to play and doesn't have microtransactions.
Chocobo GP
The upcoming console version of Chocobo GP will be based on the yellow, ostrich-like chocobos from Final Fantasy. It looks like it will be a mix of Mario Kart and battle royale. Its cousin that works on phones is less ambitious.
Big Tournament Golf ACA NeoGeo
There is already a long list of old NeoGeo games that have been remade for mobile, from the popular Metal Slug series to the less well-known NAM-1975. Big Tournament Golf is a good addition. Even though the interface is a mess and there are a lot of buttons on the screen, the arcade golf gameplay, which is more than 25 years old, is still very fun.
My Heroes: Dungeon Raid
You can choose from one of five character classes and then go into dungeons where you use auto-aim to kill enemies while avoiding their "bullet hell" attacks.
Barkeology
In Barkeology, you help a dog fill a museum with dinosaur bones. The game is a light remix of Minesweeper. Tap to dig, mark bones with paw prints, and when you're done, the bones you've found go to the museum.
