Moncage is entirely played out across a cube's five viewable faces, which you may turn to look through its various planes at beautifully created 3D scenes. To find components of various faces that line up in the manner of 2017's classic, Gorogoa, tap to zoom in or out.
Moncage excels at manipulating scale, perspective, and relationships between background and foreground objects. The cube's perfect angle makes it possible to line up seemingly unrelated props coming from various directions. It's a methodical, patient, and incredibly fulfilling procedure.
It can also occasionally be a little too cryptic for its own good, but this flaw is offset by a sequence of progressively more explicit indications that lead to a brief movie that simply instructs you on what to do. It's a clever approach to avoid frustration and guarantee that as many players as possible may advance through its meditative, enigmatic challenges and reach its profoundly moving climax.
