In the resource-management zombie survival game Final Outpost, each run begins with just one survivor and ruins. Create a workshop and storage spaces, then dispatch peasants to forage for food, salvaged metal, and wood before fortifying your walls and erecting new buildings.
The most recent update, which was released at the beginning of 2020, added mines and miners, the ability to upgrade walls and buildings with stone, seasons, and numerous quality-of-life improvements. Despite this, the game is still entirely free to play, has no ads, and microtransactions are entirely optional.
While there are several bugs, especially in the later runs where game save problems are more prone to occur, the interwoven resource development and city defense are extremely engrossing.
