The Best iPhone Games for 2022 - Part 4

No matter if you're a PC gamer, a console gamer, or an iPhone user who loves a cheap diversion, we all have one thing in common: We've all used the App Store to get at least one game.

After all, mobile games are all about ease of use and quick dopamine hits. Would you rather wait in line at the grocery store and read tabloids or start playing Crossy Road? It's an easy choice. It's not quite as easy to choose which games to download, though.

The Apple App Store is full of games, but it can be hard to stay away from the bad ones. Don't worry, we can help. We've picked out the fun, well-made games that you should have on your iPhone, especially since Fortnite is still nowhere to be found. You can feel safe downloading these games. And let us know what your favorite games are in the comments.

Lumino City

What you'll find in Lumino City could be the most unique way to play on an iPhone so far. It's a point-and-click adventure that's a follow-up to the game Lume. What makes it different from other iOS games is the art. Its graphics were made by hand, and they put you in a world of stop-motion animation that has never been seen before in a video game.

Minit

Explore your world and try to break a curse in just 60 seconds. Minit is a black-and-white adventure game that you have to play in short bursts while you collect items and try to save the day.

Miracle Merchant

In Miracle Merchant, you play the role of a master alchemist's apprentice in a solitaire-style card game. Your job is to use decks of cards to make potions for customers, and the game's graphics are bright and charming.

Oddmar

In this new take on the classic platformer genre, you control a Viking as he tries to become one of the best warriors in the world and earn his place in Valhalla. Will your Viking have to do what he's told and burn down the forest, or is there another way he can prove himself?

Out There

Out There is a bit of a choose-your-own-adventure feel to the way resources are managed. You are stuck in the middle of space and don't know where you are. To stay alive, you must manage your spaceship and gather resources. You can only set your character on a certain path that affects how the game ends by interacting with alien species.

Oxenfree

In this supernatural horror-adventure, a group of kids must find out what's going on on a mysterious island. Oxenfree is a 2.5D graphic adventure game with no cutscenes. Instead, conversations happen as you play. The game is different because there is no way to lose it. Instead, the way the game ends depends on the choices the player makes, so there are more than one ending.

Pac-Man 256

Pac-Man 256 is a new take on an old favorite. It gets its name from the glitch on Pac-Man Level 256. Just like in the original game, Pac-Man eats pellets and power-ups and avoids ghosts. But this time, the level never ends, and the glitch at the bottom of the screen will eat the player. There are also new power-ups added to the game to spice things up.

Papers, Please

Papers, Please is one of a kind because it simulates doing paperwork. You are in charge of an immigration officer in a dystopian country. You look at people's papers to decide who can cross the border and who can't. The player is given an ever-growing list of rules and requirements to check documents against, and they are also forced to make moral decisions that may go against the approved criteria. There are a lot of different ways the game can end, depending on the choices you make.

Pikmin Bloom

Pikmin Bloom is the latest collaboration between Nintendo and Niantic, the creators of Pokemon Go. It may not be quite as mind-blowing as that augmented-reality monster-catching phenomenon, but these adorable plant-like creatures also encourage you to get out of your seat and walk around your neighborhood.

Plague Inc

In this game, the player makes and changes a pathogen to spread a plague around the world and kill everyone. Plague Inc. is a strategy simulation game that uses real-world factors to make it hard for the player to make the ultimate viral weapon. As you change and improve the plague to spread around the world, you reach your goals.

Pokemon Go

In 2016, when Pokemon Go came out all over the world, Nintendo took its Pokemon series to the next level. Location-based and augmented reality technologies were used in the mobile app to make catching Pokemon a social and active activity. New Pokemon, items, Raid Battles, and other features keep being added to the game through updates. Check out our list of tips and tricks that will help you become a Pokemon Master.

Pokemon Unite

It was only a matter of time before the Pokemon series tried its hand at the MOBA genre, which is also very popular. In Pokemon Unite, you and your partners take control of Pokemon teams and dunk on each other to score points. As multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs) go, Unite is very easy to play, and the Pokemon have all the crazy powers you'd expect.
