The Best iPhone Games for 2022 - Part 1

The Best iPhone Games for 2022 - Part 1

No matter if you're a PC gamer, a console gamer, or an iPhone user who loves a cheap diversion, we all have one thing in common: We've all used the App Store to get at least one game.

After all, mobile games are all about ease of use and quick dopamine hits. Would you rather wait in line at the grocery store and read tabloids or start playing Crossy Road? It's an easy choice. It's not quite as easy to choose which games to download, though.

The Apple App Store is full of games, but it can be hard to stay away from the bad ones. Don't worry, we can help. We've picked out the fun, well-made games that you should have on your iPhone, especially since Fortnite is still nowhere to be found. You can feel safe downloading these games. And let us know what your favorite games are in the comments.

Alto's Odyssey

Alto's Odyssey is the sequel to Alto's Adventure, which came out in 2015. The new game continues the series' ability to combine the beautiful graphics of skiing with the smooth controls of an endless runner. As you go down the mountain, you'll need to meet goals, collect coins, and earn upgrades.

Among Us

Among Us came out in 2018, but for some reason, it became a huge hit in 2020. In this cooperative, multi-player game, you and your teammates work together to find out who is lying in the group while trying to stay alive in space. Since we're stuck at home, this game is a great way to keep your social skills sharp (and your paranoia high).

The Battle of Polytopia

In this real-time strategy game, you take charge of a tribe and build an empire by expanding its territory, fighting enemies, and building up its army. You can play The Battle of Polytopia by yourself, against a friend, or online with people you don't know.

Beyond a Steel Sky

Beyond a Steel Sky is the long-awaited sequel to Revolution Software's 1994 adventure game Beneath a Steel Sky. It is only available on Apple Arcade. This cyberpunk game stays true to the source material, but it also takes into account how point-and-click games have changed over the past 25 years.

Blek

Blek is a puzzle game that has been praised for its simple controls and minimalist art. To finish each level, you have to use touch-screen gestures to make patterns. When it came out in 2013, the game was a simple, well-liked addition to the iPhone's games.

Brawlhalla

Brawlhalla is the next best thing if you like Super Smash Bros but don't have a Nintendo system. In this free fighter, tiny, colorful characters with weird weapons fight each other in big brawls to knock each other off the stage.

Call of Duty: Mobile

The AAA polish of the Call of Duty games holds up well in this mobile version. You can now play Activision's popular first-person shooter game for free while you're on the go. The game even made it with the battle royale mode.

Clash Royale

Clash Royale is a really unique game because it combines collecting cards, tower defense, and online multiplayer. Since its release around the world in 2016, Clash Royale has been nominated for many awards and is now a popular eSport around the world.

Crashlands

Crashlands came out in 2016 as a role-playing game (RPG) with a crazy story. You are stuck on a planet with no civilization. To stay alive, you must fight monsters, mine for resources, and complete quests. You can play the game on any platform, so there's no reason to stop.

Crossy Road

We will always recommend Crossy Road, just like a chicken will always cross the road. It's a must-have mobile game because of how addicting it is and how cute the voxel art is.
