You play a brave warrior die who is trying to beat Lady Luck and what the game calls her "cruel whims" by fighting a series of fast-paced, strategic card battles.
Dice rolls are important, but only insofar as they give you energy for your special moves. These range from turning into a bear (which has strong attacks but isn't so good at trading with merchants) to setting fire to your opponents' dice, making them useless except at the cost of health.
Along with a fun sense of humor, the game has a lot of possible effects, some of which combine as you finish each roll. This makes it a tactically interesting game where you can use a variety of skills to make up for bad rolls.
