How to Hard Reset or Force Reset All iPhone 14 Models

Apple's iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are available in various sizes compared to the iPhone 13 series from a year ago, but they still have features in common with Apple's 2021 models, such as an all-screen layout and the absence of a front-facing Home button.

As a result, the process for forcing a restart or hard reset has not altered from the last series. Even so, if you're upgrading from a device with a Home button, continue on to find out how to hard reset or force reset your iPhone 14 since you may need to do so if your smartphone malfunctions or becomes unresponsive for whatever reason.

How to Hard Reset the iPhone 14 (All Models)

  1. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
  2. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release the Side button.

You will see a slider to turn the iPhone off at this point. You should disregard it and keep holding down the Side button until the screen becomes completely dark. The Apple logo will then appear, and the screen will turn back on when the restart is finished.

By using the force restart method, you may avoid completely shutting down the iPhone, which necessitates additional procedures and prolongs the boot-up time.

By navigating to the General section of the Settings app, scrolling to the bottom, and selecting the ShutDown option, you can shut down your iPhone if you so want.
