Tacticus gives you a series of turn-based battles on a hex-based battlefield. You take charge of an Ultramarine and his slowly growing group of randomly assigned grimdark friends.

There are advantages to the terrain, and each soldier has a special move they can only use once per battle, which works well in the short battles. Each unit also has a way to get better, which takes a few hours to reach a plateau.

Action can feel repetitive, and there are the usual gacha caveats, but flanking moves and smart use of special skills make this at least a tactical game.
