It would be cool to have a full-fledged PvP space combat simulator in your pocket. So, it's too bad that Battleship Apollo does so many things wrong when it tries to do that.
The game is played by dropping fighters, bombers, and tactical support ships onto a hex grid and using energy from a pool that slowly refills. This is very similar to how Clash Royale is played. Once on the map, units act on their own, attacking enemies and, if they can, heading for the flagship of your opponent.
There are a lot of problems, but the most annoying is that you often get matched with commanders who are several levels above you and against whom you have no chance at all. Hades' Star, which was the last game made by Parallel Space, is still a better and more balanced experience.

At the same time, it allows you to spend as much time as you want in the game, without artificial progress walls. We have taken special care to remove superfluous Real Time Strategy elements, while still keeping what's important to maintain tactical depth.
