In Barkeology, you help a dog fill a museum with dinosaur bones. The game is a light remix of Minesweeper. Tap to dig, mark bones with paw prints, and when you're done, the bones you've found go to the museum.
Unlike its inspiration, you can't accidentally blow yourself up in this game. However, if you dig over a bone, it will break and your dog won't be able to add it to his collection.
It's a fun idea, but the free-to-play mechanics, the never-ending grind to earn enough cash to unlock new sites, and the monotony of digging in the same spot over and over again to find the last bone for your dinosaur quickly take away from the fun of getting back into Minesweeper's classic gameplay.
